Evolution or Religion?

John Scopes a biology teacher during the 1930's had went against the law and had been teaching his students the theory of evolution. Back then teachers were not aloud to teach or speak to there students about evolution, they were only to be taught religion. In todays time its different, now teachers are not at all suppose to preach or teach religion to there students, which i believe is correct, nor do i think evolution should be aloud to be taught or spoke aboutt. Teachers should not have an influence on a students belief, that is the parents job to guide there children to believing whatever they think is right. Religion is deep and can be a touchy subject, it is not appropriate for a teacher to be talking about religion or creation with a student, unless ofcourse you are in a christian or catholic school, that is what they are ment for. Students may take there opinions offensive or may not agree, teaching evolution or religion to students can stir up alot of trouble. I think it is best to keep opinions and beliefs about evolution or religion to yourself during school by not discussing it.
