Being a member of the CSI i was told that my task was to investigate the case of Sacco and Vanzetti. It is the year 1921, i have investigated many cases in the years of me working but this case and trial was the toughest by far. Sacco and Vanzetti were italian anarchist who were charged with murder during an armed robbery in South Braintree Massachusetts, He came to the united states at seventeen Both men were born in italy. Ferdinando Nicola Sacco born in Southern italy and on April 22, 1891 and died on August 23, 1927 vanzetti left italy and came to the united states at the agae of twenty Sacco and Vanzetti both came to the unites states in the year 1908, but both met years after coming to the U.S. in 1917. Luigi Galleani another italian anarchist was who Sacco and Vanzetti followed who was for violence played a role in Sacco and Vanzetties wrong doing im sure. The execution date for both these men was on August 23, 1927, they had 2 trials. Both trial were very long and time consuming, In this case it is very hard to defend criminals like Sacco and Vanzetti, there crimes are nothing minor. Although i believe the should have not ne defended Vanzetti was represented by an attorney John P. vahey. There was much evidence to prove what had happened, which was not to good for Sacco and Venzetti. Shotgun shells were found at the scene as well as shells found in Venzetti himself, although Venzettis descriptions were unsure the physical evidence was right on. After speaking and talking it over with Sacco, Vanzetti decided not to testify to his own defense. After hours of diliberation from the jury they had come to a clean concesus. Although during there diliberation they were unsure if the shell casings they had found on the crime scene and on Vanzetti were big enough to kill a person. Both Sacco and Vanzetti telling lies about what happened and where they were the time of the crime backfired, they thought it would help but unfortunatley there were witnesses on the scene and one witnesess had recognized him because of the strage passport picture he had presented. It was not good for Sacco and Vanzetti both sentenced for attempted robber a term of 12 to 15 years in prison. There were no excuses, lies or way to get aroud the Sacco and venzetti trial. There crimes were no secret nor was it an easy process very time consuming and tought with all the evidence and speculations. Sacco and Venzetti both got what they deserved no criminal should go unpunished for there wrong doing. I believe no criminal should be defended unless the crime is justified and there is a chance that they could be found not guilty.
