dont judge a book by its cover

Stereotypes give people an general overview about a person. They arent always accurate there other peoples opinion about how they see you, mostly likely before they meet you they judge you and automatically categorize you in click based off your appearence. Stereoytypes can result from people being prejudice. I think it is so widely known because it does happen everywhere schools, even television programs display examples of stereotypes.

I think Thoreau ment that a government who is less involved and does not care much is the best type of government. Although having freedom and no rules can be great i feel the government should be involved in peoples lives. Yes we do need our privacy and freedom but we also need order and have boundaries. If we had a government that did not care we would have such chaos. The U.S isnt perfect now but it would be worse if we had a government that could care less.

the young believing false history

 i believe younger students do not know any better. whatever there elders tell them or teach them they will believe. although young students may not be mature enough to handle the true facts about history, they still should not be lied to because im sure later on in there years of education these younger students will find out the truth about the mistakes or the battles lost in history.

the lies of history

"History is the lie commonly agreed upon" by this quote i think Voltaire ment that all the information read in books or told by people is what everyone believes because that is all they know and heard of but i have come to realize now that these so called "facts" are not true at all. History and the creators of these so called facts want people to believe that countries havent their lost wars or battles because they want to be known as winners and the good things they have accomplished, they would never want to admit they have lost or made mistakes. Everyone believes history as it is told now which is false.
