less is more

I think Thoreau ment that a government who is less involved and does not care much is the best type of government. Although having freedom and no rules can be great i feel the government should be involved in peoples lives. Yes we do need our privacy and freedom but we also need order and have boundaries. If we had a government that did not care we would have such chaos. The U.S isnt perfect now but it would be worse if we had a government that could care less.
